  • Serves customers in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner and constantly seeks ways to create an experience that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Provides prompt, effective problem resolution using outside-the-box thinking when needed.
  • Develops and coaches Personal Bankers in policies and procedures and customer experience; cross-trains; provides assistance and defines performance standards and accountabilities for personal bankers
  • Provides assistance to Branch Manager as needed.
  • Follows established procedures for transactions requiring supervisory approval.
  • May open accounts, CDs, IRAs, and debit cards; utilizes BPM efficiently in daily activities.
  • Responsible for procedures pertaining to the night deposit bags and various associated log sheets including dual control.
  • Conducts cash counts and assists with audits for regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain a personal balancing record that is in line with policy. Regularly monitor the balancing performance of staff and have the ability to find and correct outages and enlist help as needed for difficult errors.
  • Assists in branch opening and closing procedures.
  • Provides customers access to safe deposit boxes.
  • Follows established procedures for transactions requiring additional research. Works with various departments in reconciling problems.
  • May be responsible for vault duties such as, planning, ordering, receiving, and verifying cash supplies. Balancing, distributing the working funds and receiving excess working funds from personal bankers.
  • Daily and weekly ATM duties
  • Responsible for timely processing and submission of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs).
  • Responsible for various duties relating to official checks and cash advances.
  • Prepares various daily and monthly activity/inventory reports and information. Assists with other reports as required.
  • Provides insight and feedback to Branch Manager in regards in regard to and daily work routines/assignments.
  • Asks questions and actively listens to determine how best to refer and cross-sell. Ensures team is listening for opportunities to assist customers while not offering/pushing unnecessary products, coaches to success.
  • Responsible for adherence to bank’s operational compliance and security policies and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Evaluates Personal Banker performance following established guidelines and keeps Branch Manager informed.
  • Is committed to on-going professional development and actively participates and advocates the bank's training and development programs and commitment to learning.
  • Willingness to participate and provide leadership to key community organizations and in community projects.
  • Assists Branch Manager in performing other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the bank and its functions.
