Job Title: Attorney – Elder Law, Real Estate Law & Estate Planning

Location: Crestwood, KY and Indiana (Hybrid - partly remote with in-office requirements)

Position Type: Full-Time

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, initiative, and a passion for serving clients with compassion. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in the areas of elder law, real estate law, and estate planning.

  • Handle cases from inception to resolution, including attending court hearings, filing legal documents, and advocating on behalf of clients.

  • Meet with clients in various locations such as their homes, nursing homes, and hospitals, ensuring that their legal needs are met with care and understanding.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop strategies for case resolution, client management, and firm growth.

  • Show initiative to grow the firm by bringing in new clients, expanding services, and actively participating in business development.

  • Attend staff meetings at our office in Crestwood, KY and work remotely or in office on non-meeting days.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Indiana and Kentucky (preferred, or willing to obtain dual licensure).

  • Proven experience in elder law, real estate law, and estate planning.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Decision Vault, Wealth Counsel, and Qualia (or willing to learn).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, courts, and colleagues.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on goal orientation and problem-solving.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach to client relationships.

  • Willingness to attend court, handle paperwork, and travel to clients in various locations.

  • A go-getter with a creative mindset, capable of bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the firm.
