CAD Operator

CAD Operator

• Prepare product submittal drawings for engineers’ approval;
• Prepare detail drawings for shop floor product manufacturing;
• Design and detail drawings for manufacturing equipment;
• Control and report on job progress;

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Detailed oriented, computer literacy and CAD experience recommended;
• Self-Starter, Team Player and Dependable;
• Able to keep paperwork and computer files organized;

Functional Responsibilities

• Working Knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • AutoCAD – 2D Drawings – Model and Paper Space Helpful;
  • Solidworks – 3D Drawings – Experience with sheet metal commands;
• Blueprint Reading;
• Great at listening and problem solving;
• Must be able to work independently and accurately;

• Achieves objectives set by the company;
• Demonstrates professional courtesy with associates and customers;
• Adheres to company policies and procedures; and other duties may be assigned.
