This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned attorney with deep knowledge of healthcare regulations and a passion for risk prevention and patient safety. Be part of a dynamic legal team where your expertise will shape policy, reduce risk, and support quality care across the organization.  This hybrid position will work out of the Louisville office in a collaborative and friendly corporate culture.  The company offers full benefit package (health, dental, vision, life, disability and 401K) and excellent salary plus discretionary bonus. 

Highlighted Duties:

  • Lead regulatory compliance and risk management efforts across all facilities.
  • Interface with state and federal agencies on regulatory and survey matters.
  • Manage legal risk, including medical malpractice and regulatory non-compliance.
  • Direct internal audits and investigations.
  • Collaborate with clinical, compliance, and legal leadership to develop preventative strategies and policies.
  • Represent the company during audits, inspections, and appeals.
  • Educate staff on legal risk, compliance, and safety practices.

Highlighted Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • 5+ years of healthcare regulatory experience
  • Must be licensed in Kentucky or ability to waive in.
  • Solid clinical knowledge and understanding of risk management in healthcare.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and research tools.
