This role provides technical assistants to employees, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware/software, and offering training to users. Ensuring smooth operations of the bank’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network. Troubleshooting issues, installing and maintaining systems.

Responsibilities:

  • User Support – Provides technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Providing remote and on-site assistance. This includes onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Installing and Configuration – Setting up and configuring computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Hardware and Software Management – Managing IT assets, including tracking hardware, software licenses, EOL, credentials, and peripherals.
  • System Maintenance – Performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving – Identifying and resolving technical issues with computer systems, software, hardware, and network connectivity.
  • Collaborate with IT Team – Working with IT Team to coordinate projects, resolve, issues, and implement solutions.
  • Policy and Procedures – Review for changes, updates, and work with IT Team for final updates.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Is aware of segregation of duties and adheres to bank established policies.
  • Responsible for adherence to bank’s operational compliance and security policies and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Willingness to participate in key community and civic organizations and projects.
  • This position is expected to understand the significant control procedures and the compliance policies related to day-to-day job duties.  All control procedures that this position has responsibility for accomplishing, as well as those for which it has direct oversight, will be accomplished according to policies and procedures.  This position is responsible for understanding and following all federal and regulatory policies and is responsible for the compliance of all direct reports.  This position is responsible for disclosing to the Asset-Liability Committee all commitments, contracts, or other agreements that it enters or changes, or that it may be aware of from other areas of the company.

Requirements:

  • High school or GED required. College degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field desired but not required.
  • A general knowledge of IT required.
  • Previous experience preferred or ability to quickly learn to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues within various operating systems/desktop applications, help desk software/hardware and anti-virus programs.
  • Ability to provide step-by-step help, both written and verbal and train end users.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Presents a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives.
  • Willingness to work unscheduled times to resolve problems or install software keeping customer service interruptions to a minimum.
  • Knowledge and understanding of, and adherence to, the Bank’s Code of Conduct.
