Are you a people-focused professional who enjoys making a real impact across every part of an organization? We’re looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team — someone who values integrity, collaboration, and excellence in helping our people and processes thrive.

As a key member of our HR department, you’ll coordinate and support a wide range of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement. This role plays an essential part in ensuring our company continues to be a great place to work.

What You’ll Do

Human Resources Operations

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on policies, compliance, and best practices.
  • Audit and process bi-weekly payroll data for hourly employees.
  • Maintain FMLA, ADA, attendance, and driver approval records.
  • File injury reports and manage workers’ compensation documentation.
  • Resolve timekeeping and PTO tracking issues efficiently.

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Write and post job advertisements across multiple platforms.
  • Manage applicant tracking and documentation for compliance.
  • Coordinate interviews, background checks, and pre-employment screenings.
  • Conduct and maintain consistent new-hire orientations — including benefits review, handbook overview, and harassment prevention training.

Benefits & Employee Engagement

  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment and open enrollment activities.
  • Help plan employee engagement events such as luncheons, appreciation days, and our annual holiday party.
  • Support the continuous improvement of our workplace culture and employee experience.

What You Bring

  • Associate degree in business, HR certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and software (experience with iSolved a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations.
