Role Summary

The Barista is responsible for creating a positive and memorable customer experience through the consistent delivery of high-quality products and service. This role requires the efficient preparation of beverages and food items in accordance with company standards, while ensuring adherence to all established processes, procedures, and quality guidelines.

Baristas are expected to maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times, contribute to a clean and organized work environment, and support a culture of teamwork and professionalism. This position serves as a direct representative of the company’s commitment to excellence in product, service, and community.

Key Responsibilities

-Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
 
-Provide timely, friendly, and professional customer service to all guests.
 
-Accurately operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash, and process transactions.
 
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
 
-Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
 
-Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate shortages to management.
 
-Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service during all shifts.
 
-Actively participate in training, skill development, and adherence to company values and culture.
 
Qualifications
-Prior customer service or food and beverage experience preferred, but not required.
 
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
 
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
 
-Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
 
-Basic math and cash-handling skills.
 
-Commitment to upholding food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
 
-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
