Project Sales and Estimating Manager

About the Role
The Project Sales & Estimating Manager supports customer work during the estimating and job‑release phase. Primary focus is estimating, ERP entry, and releasing work to production, with follow‑up involvement as needed. This role works closely with customers as well as sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure jobs are set up accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for fabricated assemblies, weldments, and material handling equipment
• Review customer drawings and specifications to determine manufacturing approach
• Enter job data into the ERP system and release jobs to production
• Communicate with customers during the estimating and setup phase
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure clear and complete job documentation

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Understanding of fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 3+ years of related experience OR college degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
