Local Delivery Driver / Shop Hand

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our custom woodworking team as a Local Delivery Driver / Shop Hand. This is a hands-on, physical position involving local deliveries, material handling, and general support in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload cabinets, doors, mouldings, casework, materials, and supplies
• Make timely local deliveries to job sites, customers, and vendors
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy and help protect finished products from damage
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing materials
• Keep delivery vehicles, loading areas, and shop spaces clean and organized
• Help shop employees with basic material preparation and general labor
• Assist installation crews at job sites when needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Experience driving a delivery van, pickup truck, or similar vehicle
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction measurements is helpful
• Dependable, punctual, careful, and able to work well with others
• Professional and courteous when interacting with customers and contractors
• Able to lift and carry heavy or bulky materials.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. Candidates must be able to stand, bend, climb, push, pull, and repeatedly lift and carry heavy or bulky materials. Team lifting and proper equipment will be used when appropriate.
