Direct Support Professional - Part-Time 2nd or 3rd Shift (Must be available some weekends)

Starting Rate: $15.00/hour
Direct Support Professionals in this role serve individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities; candidates that will be considered for this position must be available to work at least one weekend per month.
Individuals in this position shall aim to assist clients in leading a safe and meaningful lifestyle through community integration, and in gaining independence with day-to-day activities through skills training activities and the implementation of goal related activities. This individual must be able to work with clients in home-based settings as well as in the community. Day-to-day activities range from in home care of 1-4 individuals (promoting independence in the home including hygiene care, preparing meals, and basic up-keep of the home) and one-on-one activities in the community (assisting our clients in increasing community integration by providing assistance with grocery shopping, attending medical appointments, sporting events or concerts in in the park). QUALIFICATIONS:
3. Complete all annual tests and trainings including but not limited to TB test or chest x-ray, SCM, CPR, First Aid, and BBP Certifications, Core A/B, ISP/PCP, Incident Reporting, Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation, Documentation, and Transportation
4. Must possess a valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance coverage per company policy, and have a vehicle that is reliable for transportation of clients
5. Experience with adults with developmental disabilities or functional impairments
